Alexandra Shipp

Alexandra Shipp has been a well-known actress over the years. She was born in Phoenix Arizona, United States on the 16th of July, 1991. She was Victoria Justice's guest in Victorious, in 2012. Shipp started her acting career in 2009 as a supporting actor for Alvin and the Chipmunks. In the third and final season Nickelodeon's mystery teen-drama series House of Anubis saw her playing KT in the title role. Shipp's roles in 2014 as Dani Raymond, the lead character in the VH1 TV sequel Drumline: A New Beat as well as Aaliyah Hauchton's role in the Lifetime Television's film Aaliyah The Princess of R&B gained her attention. Shipp was also a vocalist for this performance. Next, she played Ice Cube's spouse Kimberly Woodruff on the biographical film Straight Outta Compton that chronicled N.W.A's career. She also co-starred with Bryan Singer in the superhero movie X-Men: Apocalypse, as Ororo Murrell/Storm, a weather-controlling mutation that was previously portrayed by Halle Berry. In the year 2018, she appeared in the film alongside Nick Robinson and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. in Love Simon and Kathryn Prescott as well as Lucy Hale in Dude both high school comedy films. James is her brother. She played Danielle Dani Raymond (a fictional character) in the TV film Drumline A New Beat from 2014.
